TERMS & CONDITIONS
Sorient Voyages is a Destination Management Company (DMC) based in France, specializing in cultural and tailor‑made travel experiences. We work with a network of trusted partners to organize trips, tours, and travel services for our clients.
All services (including tours, travel packages, and customized itineraries), regardless of their duration, are confirmed only after a deposit of at least 40% of the total package price has been received. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the departure date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
CANCELLATION POLICY
For day tours (one day or less):
– Cancellation more than 48 hours before the start of the service: the client forfeits 30% of the total cost of the service.
– Cancellation less than 48 hours before the start of the service: the client forfeits 100% of the total cost of the service.
– In case of no‑show or last‑minute cancellation: the client forfeits 100% of all amounts paid.
For multi‑day or overnight tours:
– Cancellation more than 30 days before the start of the services: the client forfeits the deposit (40% of the total cost).
– Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the services: the client forfeits 100% of the total cost of the services.
– In case of no‑show or last‑minute cancellation: the client forfeits 100% of all paid amounts.
The deposit percentage may vary depending on the conditions imposed by our local partners or service providers.
PAYMENT METHODS
Payments can be made via secure online payment link (major credit cards accepted) or via bank transfer.
All payments must be made in euros (EUR) and received net of all bank charges. Any transfer fees must be paid by the client.
Failure to pay within the agreed timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including medical coverage and trip cancellation insurance, from a provider in their country of residence.
Sorient Voyages cannot be held responsible for costs related to illness, accidents, travel interruption, or cancellation without insurance coverage.
SERVICES AND QUOTATIONS
All quotations are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
Prices may be adjusted in case of changes in taxes, fuel costs, supplier rates, or exchange rates beyond our control.
If significant changes to a proposed itinerary are requested by the client after the initial quotation, Sorient Voyages reserves the right to charge a service fee for additional planning work.
TOUR MODIFICATIONS
Due to operational reasons or circumstances beyond our control, the order of activities within a tour may be modified. Equivalent services may be substituted if necessary in order to ensure the continuity and quality of the travel experience.
FORCE MAJEURE
Sorient Voyages shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, epidemics, governmental decisions, or transportation disruptions.
In such cases, all reasonable efforts will be made to adjust the itinerary or provide alternative arrangements.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Sorient Voyages acts as an intermediary between travelers and local service providers such as hotels, transportation companies, and guides.
While we carefully select our partners, Sorient Voyages cannot be held responsible for failures, delays, or actions of third‑party service providers.
In all circumstances, the financial liability of Sorient Voyages shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the services booked.

Any complaint must be submitted in writing within 14 days after the end of the services and sent to:

APPLICABLE LAW
These terms and conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France.

Personal data collected during the booking process is used exclusively for the organization and management of travel services.
